Christian Schumann debuts with Copenhagen Phil on 24 November in an anniversary concert celebrating the 70th birthday of the iconic Danish composer Anders Koppel, and features some of his most famous works such as Concerto for Marimba, and Concerto for Violin and Alto Saxophone.
This is one of many debuts Christian Schumann is making this season including Orchestre National de Lille, and Warsaw and Oslo philharmonic orchestras.
A truly modern and multi-faceted conductor, Christian Schumann continues to establish a reputation not only as an opera and symphonic conductor, but also as a leading international force in both the contemporary and film conducting world.
