The Music Factory is a new and innovative concert experience for the whole family. Exploring and playing with well-known musical highlights in a combination of animation, dance and digital staging, with the entire symphony orchestra on stage.
The Music Factory is a musical story, developed by Sigurd Slåttebrekk and director/choreographer Cina Espejord, which follows the narrative of the music itself, creating a magical and beautiful world. Not least, we play on technological and cultural elements children will recognise from their own lives — in surprising and perhaps slightly eccentric ways.
Christian Schumann performed the debut performance with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra in October 2017.
