Tickets are now available for Troy Miller’s evening of ‘Gershwin’ at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam featuring vocalists Laura Mvula and Gretchen Parlato, and performed with the Radio Filharmonisch Orkest. The programme, curated, conducted and arranged by Troy Miller, re-imagines classics from the Gershwin song book such as Embraceable You, Summertime and I got Rhythm alongside original music by Gretchen and Laura arranged for symphony orchestra.
Miller has already collaborated with orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia and BBC Concert orchestras to bring some of these orchestrations to life. These spectacular and intriguing arrangements of timeless songs are combined with electrifying solo voices.
