Eimear Noone & Craig Garfinkle discuss composing for their upcoming film on BBC World Service’s series ‘In The Studio’

BBC World Service’s new episode of ‘In The Studio’ titled ‘Composers in Isolation’, with Eimear Noone and Craig Garfinkle airs worldwide on 30 June. The episode will then be available to listen to on BBC Sounds.
The episode follows the composing duos journey as they near the completion of their film score for the upcoming animated feature, ‘Two By Two: Overboard’, a sequel to the 2015 hit animation, ‘Two By Two: Oops Noah is Gone..’. They talk to presenter Matthew Garvey about their processes, insights and effects of the Covid-19 restrictions has had on recording with orchestras while being based in rural Ireland.
Eímear Noone is an award-winning Irish composer and conductor, composing extensively for film and videogame. She is responsible for some of the most enduring soundscapes on World of Warcraft and other best-selling videogames. “The Irish Queen of Games Music” (The Irish Independent) is also one of the world’s premier conductors of game scores and has previously conducted orchestras such as BBC Concert Orchestra, Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Danish National Symphony, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra orchestras.
