Leticia Moreno debuts with Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra on Japanese tour

Leticia Moreno performs Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No.2 for her debut with Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Yuri Temirkanov, with whom she has a strong relationship. The performance takes place at Suntory Hall on 20 February, Osaka Festival Hall on 21 February and Fukuoka Symphony Hall on 22 February. The programme also includes Glinka’s Ruslan and Lyudmila Overture, and Dvořák’s Symphony No.9.
Next month Moreno returns to Asia to perform Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto with Huang Li leading the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra. Upcoming highlights in Europe include a performance under the baton Krzysztof Penderecki of his own Violin Concerto No.2 Metamorphosen with Mozarteum Orchester in April.
