Becca Stevens kicks off a busy and exciting 2017 with a performance at the Winter JazzFest on 7 January at the New School 12th Street Auditorium. She is joined by special guests Snarky Puppy’s Michael League, Michelle Willis, the Attacca Quartet and longstanding band members Chris Tordini and Jordan Perlson.
Winter Jazzfest is described as the “beacon of the New York jazz scene, gathering leading musicians from around the world” and this concert features a sneak preview of songs from Becca’s upcoming album Reginaproduced by Troy Miller, co-produced by Michael League, featuring Laura Mvula, Jacob Collier and David Crosby.
This performance follows a packed 2016 which Becca closed with a tour of her album Perfect Animal and with David Crosby on his Lighthouse tour. Later this year Becca will tour the US in April and Europe in May.
