Polyarts talent development artist Erzhan Kulibaev Finalist of Enescu Festival Competition

29 year old Kazakhstan-born violinist Erzhan Kulibaev won 3rd prize at the prestigious Enescu Festival Competition – Violin section. Erzhan has been part of the Polyarts/HarrisonParrott Development Programme since early 2015 and is firmly establishing himself as a dynamic and gifted young soloist.
A protégé of Professor Zakhar Bron, Erzhan won the 2015 S&R Washington Award and is a former prize winner at the Demidovski, Lisbon, Novosibirsk, Hindemith, Buenos Aires and Wieniawski International Violin Competitions.
Recent debuts include performances with Orquesta Sinfônica de Tenerife under James Feddeck, the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra, the State Symphony Orchestra of Kazakhstan, Poznan Philharmonic Orchestra and the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra – and prestigious recital engagements at the Berlin Konzerthaus and the Madrid National Auditorium with Vladimir Ashkenazy. He also recently performed with the Astana Opera Symphony Orchestra in 2016 under the baton of Valery Gergiev.
