Leticia Moreno debuts with the Hallé at the Festival Internacional Santander

On 10 August the Spanish violinist Leticia Moreno makes her debut with the Hallé playing Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto under the baton of Sir Mark Elder.
The concert takes place at the Palacio de Festivales in Santander as part of the Festival Internacional Santander.
Following this concert, also part of the Festival, Leticia performs a recital on 11 August with the pianist Jonathan Gilad. The programme features Turina’s The Poem of a Sanlúcar Girl, Debussy’s Violin Sonata, Granados’ Violin Sonata H 127, Falla’s Suite Populaire Espagnole and Ravel’s Tzigane.
Leticia will return to the Hallé in February 2017. Other forthcoming highlights include concerts with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under Eduardo Portal, Nürnberger Symphoniker and Weimar Staatskapelle under Krzysztof Penderecki.
