This week Leticia Moreno, Echo Rising Star and signed to Deutsche Grammophon Spain, joins Yuri Temirkanov and the St Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra for her first tour of the UK.
The tour starts in Birmingham on 31 October and Leticia performs again with the orchestra in Manchester (4 November), Nottingham (6 November) and Basingstoke (7 November). The concerts coincide with the release of Leticia’s second album on DG of Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No.1 with Temirkanov and the orchestra.
Nikolai Lugansky also features as a soloist on the tour, performing with the orchestra in Leeds (1 November), Edinburgh (2 November), and Gateshead (5 November).
Before the tour begins, on 30 October Leticia appears on BBC Radio In Tune, performing live and talking all about her tour, albums and career.
Later this season Leticia makes her US debut with Christoph Eschenbach and Washington’s National Symphony Orchestra in Lalo’s Symphonie espagnole.
