On 27 August the young Spanish violinist Leticia Moreno performs alongside Andrés Orozco-Estrada with the hr-Sinfonieorchester at a large open air concert in Frankfurt’s Metzler Park.
Leticia performs Sarasate’s Carmen-Fantasie and Ravel’s Tzigane. The programme also features Ravel’s La Valse and Boléro, and the waltz suite from Strauss’ Der Rosenkavalier.
An ECHO Rising Star for 2012, Leticia has recently completed a 20-concert tour across Europe’s leading halls where she performed music from her new Deutsche Gramophon album, Spanish Landscapes. She regularly works with Orozco-Estrada and most recently they appeared together at Madrid’s Auditorio Nacional in June where she also performed Tzigane.
Next month Leticia performs at the Rheingau Festival on 3 September in a recital with Christopher Park where the repertoire for the evening includes works by Bach, Granados, Schumann and Beethoven.
